The Well Socialized Babe

My good friend Meagh & my little girl.

Gretchen travels well. She's is excellent in public, at restaurants, in crowded rooms & in any situation where behaving like a baby is somewhat socially unacceptable.

I chalk it up to babywearing & the boob.

Do your babes like to be out & about? How do you keep them happy in stressful situations?

Zi said...: Our baby girl is excellent when we go out as well- although I've quickly realized that taking the stroller everywhere I want to go is hellish. Babywearing would definitely be easier!

Argh. I'm so frustrated with L.A. This is a driver's land, and my babe hates the car. She's great in public if I wear her and bounce (and it helps that I'm willing to breastfeed her anywhere), but the car ride there can be so awful that I'd rather not go. Thankfully I don't actually have a car and we get to walk places. THAT makes a happy babe.
