This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things

I am a walking disaster.

A couple days ago Gretchen peed on one of our pillows so I threw it in the washer, creating a completely unbalanced load and breaking my washing machine.

Grumble.

Yesterday I took a load of clothing over to the Laundromat across the street and proceeded to WASH MY BLACKBERRY.

I just can't win.

So now, my poor phone is in the process of drying out, but may never be the same again. This is made even sadder by the fact that the pretty pink thing was my birthday present from Ryan. Last year he got me a Real Simple book that I'd been dying for and THE CAT PEED ON IT. I'm destined to ruin all things he buys for me -- IMPOSSIBLE.

Anyone else have strings of terrible luck/karma/nonsense? Is it my true hair colour shining through?? Am I just that dopey?

Thankfully, tomorrow is a new day -- a day where I HOPEFULLY won't break anything.

Finger are crossed (but not too hard, lest I break them).

I feel your pain! We have spit up stained couch throw cushions and our cats hace clawed up our skip hop playmat for Noah . . . *sigh* I guess the days of having nice things has coem and gone.

Ah that sucks :( I think we all have weeks like that. Funny I was just looking at your pic in the post above and wondered what you look like with blonde hair. Do you hate it and always plan on dying your hair dark? I've been dying my hair red since I was like 13 and I don't plan to ever let my natural color shine through again lol although it's not quite as big of a difference as yours.

ps. I used to comment as heartshapedbox... that's my LJ name I just changed my thing on here.

Melissa: Hi again! I've thought about dying my hair back blond, or growing it out.. but it just doesn't feel like ME anymore. I dyed it two summers ago, back to blond and TWO WEEKS later dyed it dark again. Couldn't handle it.
I've been doing the dark hair thing since the end of high school now :)
