Breathing It All In

I can barely find the right words to describe how thrilled I am with this weather.

Spring is here and I find myself taking deeper breaths, feeling calmer and letting the weight of the winter melt away with the last of the snow banks.

This afternoon we hung out in our backyard for the first time in months. Gretchen climbed down the steps, and up the steps... down the steps... up the steps... over and over until she was bored of it and stopped to take a little rest, mid-climb.

We spent some more time out in our front yard this afternoon. We talked to our neighbours in the street, befriended a dog named Carl and watched the kids of the block on their big wheels & trikes.

Ahh, springtime in the quaintest part of town. It doesn't get much better than this.
