Ergo Love

On Friday I ordered the Organic Dark Chocolate Ergo carrier.

I've had my eye on it for a while, so I saved a little & decided to treat myself (and Gretchen!) to this gorgeous babywearing device.

I kept hearing fabulous things about it (like Steph's review and the video on the My Favourite Baby Carrier site) and wanted to try it out myself. I also love the dark brown colour, and though it was a little more pricey, I went with the organic one (and got some of the sucking pads for my little teether).

I can't wait to add to my babywearing collection -- isn't it beautiful! It should be here either late this week or next week, but rest assured, there will be photos as soon as it arrives.

I also think it shall make moving easier since I'll be able to pop her onto my back!

Have you tried the Ergo? What are your thoughts?

I love love LOVED my ergo, unfourtunately Alejandro didn't love it and now prefers to walk or ride in the "baby car" (stroller). The ergo is so comfortable! It felt like I was carrying nothing and he's over 25lbs!

I hope you and Gretchen like it!

I just got mine and I didn't like it at first...but then I took a 5 mile hike and fell in love. The straps seem a little bulky, but once you are walking with them in there everything kind of settles into place. I am still getting used to it, but I find it very comfortable and easy to use. It takes a bit to get the straps and whatnot all adjusted correctly but I love how you can get it to fit you perfectly. And the sleeping hood is awesome.

I have said for years I really should be on Ergo's payroll. I have done so many demos in public with it and answered tons of questions about them. I ADORE my Ergo. If I had to get rid of every carrier except for one, I would keep the Ergo, no question.

Mine is showing its age - it's an organic denim (not sure they even make those anymore) and it has been so many places with us! I've used it for back carries almost exclusively, though I did use it as a front pack a little with AJ when she was a baby. It is just awesome.

Sadly, it doesn't get much love these days, but I will still pull it out when we go to an event where a stroller would be too bulky but it would be dangerous for AJ to roam free.

You will be SO HAPPY with this. It is truly a GREAT carrier!
