We Clean Up Nicely



Yesterday we got all dressed up for my friend's wedding shower -- Gretchen wore a dress for the very first time.

I am so excited to be a bridesmaid in this wedding. I've never been in a wedding before & I'm absolutely honoured that I get to be in hers.

I cried at the shower.
I will cry at the wedding.

Note to self: Find excellent mascara.

Avon Washoff Waterproof. It's not as good ingredient-wise as the mascara I use now (which is an organic brand). But it's no worse than most and it isn't tested on animals. Plus the price is right. Seriously. Best mascara I've ever used.

I was maid of honour at my best friends wedding, and I cried. Even worse was that I cried in my speech, which meant that everyone else cried too! Crying is okay, I think. Weddings are emotional, happy things :)
