Let Them Eat Prunes & Root Vegetables







She really loves to feed herself & we love letting her. She starts with a spoon, then uses her fingers.

Mealtime is almost always followed by a quick splash in the tub.

PS. A huge thank you to my lovely friend, Elena, who suggested getting a small metal mixing bowl to use as G's new dish. Safer than plastic -- less breakable than glass. Fantastic.
PPS. Do you like our new bunting that's hanging behind G in the 2nd last photo? Thank you to Deliajude's Nicole! Merci.
PPPS. Would you be disgusted to know that after Gretchen's done eating, I tip the highchair on its side so the dog can lick it clean? Don't worry, I wipe it clean before the next meal. Hah.

Fun photos! And I love that comment about the dog. My daughter (10 mos.) is always feeding the dog when she eats. The worst is when she changes her mind after he has already licked the item in her hand and then brings it back to her mouth. Her seat and floor area are always licked clean by him, every time she eats.

I'm sure the dog can get in those area's it so hard for our fingers to get in to clean :) Its no worries, I'd do the same thing if we had a dog! I love to hear there are others out there just like me!!
