Sneaky Kitten!

Earlier this afternoon I spotted her tiptoeing across that fence in our neighbour's yard. She definitely thinks she owns the neighbourhood.

I called to her and she ran to the edge, flew down to the ground and bounded for our yard where she greeted me with a purrr and a prrrroww!

I can't believe she's already seven years old... I got her when I was 18, freshly moved from my mom's house and into my first apartment. She's been my roommate & pal... just never mind the fact that she fell head over heels for Ryan and no longer thinks of me as her soulmate. She follows at his heels, sleeps on his side of the bed and beckons him with her swishy tail. It's quite a sight to behold. Thankfully, Lydia Deets (also 7), originally the boy's cat, has become my fluffy little buddy, so I'm not completely left out. And don't forget Sir Winston (5), who worships at my feet.

I think it's becuase I know where the treats are.
