The Fawn Must Apologize To Her Toes

Last night I stubbed my toe on the cat's scratching post.

This morning my toe is swollen and three different shades of purple. Eeep. I can't bend it too much, but weirdly, walking doesn't seem to be much of a problem.

I am so clumsy 88% of the time.

I am almost surprised my baby toes have survived all these years. They've both been broken & sprained numerous times -- you'd think they'd have mutinied a long time ago.

When I was in elementary school I dropped the handle of a little red wagon on my big toe & it turned completely black for weeks. A few years back I stubbed my big toe & nearly sliced the poor thing right in half.

So, I'm very sorry that these were the feet you were dealt, you poor, poor toes. I'll try to be more careful, but I'm pretty sure that clumsiness isn't curable.

{11.14am edit: made the mistake of taking a long walk downtown to get coffee & back. Toe = in much worse condition. This girl is a STUBBORN girl.}
