Today The Mercury Pushed 17°











We soaked up as much of the sun as we could in the big park across from our house. We were actually quite overdressed in our sweaters.

Gretchen passed the grass and leaves from hand to hand as we watched all of the dogs and their people playing on the lawn. Pugs, and Bassets, and terriers -- oh my! So many cute little pups & their humans, out to enjoy the sun.

Gretchen quite enjoys the company of pets (much to the chagrin of our own) and she petted their little heads and they licked her cheeks.

After all of the coughing and sniffling from the past month or so, a lovely, lazy Sunday in the sun was exactly what we needed.

I'm feeling recharged and ready for the week.

Yes! It looks, from the pictures, like our weekends we spent in similar ways. I just wrote a bit about what a day full of light does to recharge our systems. It is SUCH a treat to have days like that in the fall.

That picture of the light shining down onto the grass, is amazing.

YAY for outside time. I wish I had more days where I could just take the kids to the park, and nobody was crying or going to time out. Those days are few and far between.

Very cute post.

So glad that baby is feeling better!
