A Little Pyrex Love For Your Wednesday Morning

A bit of a flashback today... featuring a few pieces from my Pyrex collection over at Mom Spark. Soon, I plan on taking photos of the ENTIRE collection... can't stop collecting, though now I'm more selective with my purchases, trying to fill it out with gems. I can't wait for yardsale season to start back up again. I didn't get to go nearly enough this summer since I always work Saturday mornings, but this year I'll be a bright & early browser!

Somewhere In My Youth Or Childhood

I must have done something good.

Here's the story, friends:

Earlier this week I tweeted a photo of my beloved coffee tin which I had picked up a while back. I later spotted the same tin, and its tea twin, on Etsy, which I actually included in today's Fawned Friday post.

Then tonight, strangely enough, look what I found when I went thrifting with my Gramma:

The world woks in mysterious ways.

I am beyond thrilled to have the matching set... and to have found them separately is even more special. I also brought home a lovely new Pyrex bowl (in a pattern I've never seen before) as well as a gorgeous brown and paisley enamel tin (which will most likely house more tea).

I must be off to bed now -- Madame Buttercup & I have planned an impromptu yard sale for tomorrow and I've been struck down with a bit of a head cold, so I've got to rest up.

It's A Pyrex Sort Of Evening

Been scouring the internet for Pyrex pics tonight -- oh my there are a lot of pretty pieces out there. As soon as I have a moment I plan on photographing my entire collection -- I think you'll be surprised how much it has grown these past few months.

See? Gorgeous. I'm so giddy about these.

Recently we purchased some shelving and eventually I want to have all of my Pyrex on display instead of being tucked away here and there and everywhere.

They are just to pretty to live in my cupboards!

Pyrex Love

These two beauties (purchased from The Vintage Apartment) will be joining my Pyrex collection in the very near future.

Let it be known that these are only the second and third pieces in my collection -- the first is an orange bowl which I believe I've had since I moved out of my mother's home, way back when.

I have a feeling this will be quite the addiction.
